About Nearly Jazz: Some old standards, tunes from the 70’s and 80’s, the occasional movie hit and doing their take on contemporary jazz/pop artists — This is “Nearly Jazz”. This new eclectic group is made up of Sonia Eidse (vocals), Evangeline Keeley (keyboard), Clive Perry (drums) and Gord Keeley (bassist).

About Ground Roots Café: As its name suggests, Ground Roots Cafe started small. Chef Jamie Koblanski opened the outdoor cafe at St. Norbert Arts Centre, then relocated to Wildewood Club when his food’s popularity grew. In this picturesque setting next to the Red River, he cooks breakfast dishes, such as potato pancakes and omelettes, as well as Ukrainian breakfasts with homemade perogies.
Later in the day, the menu turns to burgers and specialty items, including handmade beer-battered onions rings, tempura-battered Manitoba pickerel fingers, and ice-battered water.Try the deep fried macaroni and cheese triangles (when available), evocative of  many a Canadian childhood lunch.
