Womyn’s only badminton coming up soon!

Out There Badminton on Friday, March 10 will be an evening for Womyn Only.

Same time (8 to 10 pm) and same place (Gordon Bell High School).  We play in the Junior gym at the South end of the building.  You may park in the lot on Broadway (access on Borrowman Street, just west of the school).  The gym is most easily reached by going up the stairs on the south side of the school.  The stairs lead directly to the Junior Gym. Genderfest Winnipeg

Genderfest Winnipeg is a DIY festival celebrating queer identity, history and culture via a multitude of media, interactive and community events.

This years Genderfest events follow a theme of resistance and resiliency; how we connect to, and care for, each other; and the ways in which we celebrate and hold each other close. In keeping with the theme of resistance and resiliency Genderfest will link with other events, actions, protests and info sessions in order to boost the signal of these independently organized events – now is a great time to connect with other organizations that are doing amazing work, find out how you can get involved, or just learn more about what people are doing to mobilize. This space is usually open to the public however during these workshops we are limiting the attendees to Female/LGBTQ2S/Trans/Non-Binary/Non-Gendered folks aged 14-28.
This casual evening of drop in programming takes place every Monday from 4pm-8pm at Studio 393 in the skywalk between The Bay and Portage Place Mall. For the next 7 weeks there will be workshops in Dance from 4:30-6pm with Tracy and from 6pm-8pm, Kaleena will be teaching about Spoken Word and Visual Arts. Jean will also be on site if anyone wants to just chat or use our arts supplies and hang out. Active participation is not mandatory.

Please let me know if you would would like us to drop one off if you don’t have a printer.
