With September just around the corner, our thoughts are turning to season’s end canoe trips, camping, and making the most of time spent in the great outdoors. Make your next outing a safe one. Join us for Wild Women, our NEW survival skills workshop designed specifically for women, trans, and non-binary participants!
We’re teaming up with our friends from Maple Leaf Survival and the Winnipeg Search and Rescue Association to present this day of learning, open to all-ages. Gain the skills and knowledge to survive outside – we’ll cover fishing, fire skills, signaling, knife skills, food preparation, primitive navigation, search and rescue, essential kit and shelter building.
All equipment is provided, and a hot fish fry lunch is included (non-fish, vegetarian, and vegan options available upon request). Limited space. For all the info and to sign up, visit our website – fortwhyte.org/wildwomen.
