OutThere Table at Pride

LACE will be represented in the loud and proud OutThere troupe at the Pride parade, and will have some info at the booth. Come check out what’s available!

The OutThere group is also looking for volunteers to help staff a booth during Winnipeg Pride. **All they’re looking for is a 1-2 hour commitment.**. If you’re interested, contact Charlie Ulloa at charliejulloa@gmail.com.

So many choices at this year’s Pride Festival!

And it all starts with Reelpride Commercials.

The annual fundraiser for Winnipeg’s GLBTTQ Film Festival, this year’s best commercials from around the world will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you think—don’t miss this fun night that highlights the queer community through advertising. 2 SHOWS – one at 7 p.m. and the other at 9 p.m.  Tickets are $10.

Haunted History Walking Tour & Coffee

Want to know more about what goes bump in the night in some buildings in Winnipeg? 

Come join us at the free Doors Open Haunted History Walking Tour. The tour starts at 1 pm on Sunday, May 31st at 61 Carlton St. The walk will go from the Dalnavert Museum to the Manitoba Archives building, and then end at the Vaughan Street Jail. It lasts for 40 minutes.

After that, we will be going to Stella’s for coffee, at 460 Portage Ave. We should be there around 2:30 pm.

Registration is now open for Pride Golf 2015, June 6, at Southside Golf Course.  Golfers of all abilities welcome!

Event includes: 9-hole Texas scramble format, putting contest, prizes, incredible RONA auction, fun activities, dinner, dance! All proceeds donated to the Rainbow Resource Centre.

Spring Fling!

With Springtime just around the corner it’s a great time to let you know that the Rainbow Resource Centre Spring Fling Gala is coming quickly.  Saturday, May 23rd we’ll be gathering at the Delta Winnipeg for the most fun gala of the year.

Headlining the show will be Canada’s Queen of R&B – Jully Black !  Check out some of Jully’s great music here: Jully Black – Running and here: Jully Black – Seven Day Fool. And that’s right – Jully is performing an exclusive concert after dinner at the gala and it’s all included in the price of your ticket – which is the same price as last year!
