Chocolate Truffles – Date Change

Chocolate. Chocolate-making classes. Chocolate-making classes in a lesbian-owned store. Does it get any better?

The class originally scheduled for October 24 has been moved to Wednesday, November 1 (7 to 8:30 p.m.), but all the other details stay the same. You can still learn how to make truffles in the company of other chocolate-covered gals, and take home a dozen of them. The truffles, not the gals.

These private classes are $42 per person (including tax). That includes instruction, supplies, and the truffles you’ll take home. It doesn’t include other chocolates you may want to buy while you’re there.

Classes are at Decadence Chocolates (70 Sherbrook): https://www.decadencechocolates.ca

You’ll learn some things about chocolate, watch how a ganache is made, and then roll and dip your truffles. Ooo la la.

Email praxis2121@gmail.com by October 20 if you want to attend. Payment will be required in advance to secure the booking. Maximum 12 people.

SYNOPSIS (https://www.cineplex.com/Movie/the-carmilla-movie)

It has been five years since Laura and Carmilla vanquished the apocalypse and Carmilla became a bonafide mortal human. They have settled in to a cozy apartment in downtown Toronto; Laura continues to hone her journalism skills while Carmilla adjusts to a non-vampire lifestyle. Their domestic bliss is suddenly ruptured when Carmilla begins to show signs of “re-vamping” – from a fondness for bloody treats to accidental biting – while Laura has started having bizarre, ghostly dreams. Enlisting their old friends from Silas University, the couple must now uncover the unknown supernatural threat that’s tied to Carmilla’s past.
